It’s been 5 days now since Kira left to search in Padsong Forest for the herbs which could save Ameises life. After venturing deep within the forest Kira finally started to feel the fatigue which he ignored untill now, he searched continuously without any rest. Upon finding a pond he quickly went to drink from it, while feeling the rejuvenating water he saw a fish in the pond and tried to catch him but the lack of sleep made him slow and his reflexes weakened so he decided to set camp for the night. After some tries he finally catched a fish which was like a blessing to him, with his stomach filled he found a tree to take a so much needed rest. The fire he made had extinguished itself because of the rain that started to fall but he didn’t care because Kira likes to listen to the rain drops and also the tree provided him shelter. He felt his eyes closing and couldn’t fight back to open them so he resigned and began to sleep, he started to dream Ameise being in huge pain, then he saw her waking up from her bed going to the window and starting to shout his name. Feeling a strange smell in the air Kira opened one of his eyes and started to look around without moving his body, not seeing anything he close his eye trying to sleep again. The stench was growing stronger and stronger and suddenly Kira heard noises next to him, this time Kira waked up and went to search what was happening. After a short scouting he found a creature which was neither alive nor dead, it was more like an undead, a zombie, Kira never leaving his village, didn’t knew that in fact he met one of the most weak Yaoguai. He was astonished how could heaps of flesh could weild a sword and move so fast, Kira tried to conceal his presence so he could study the creature more without any danger. The creature had the shape of a human but missed some ribs and one arm, he had the smell of rotting flesh and his eyeballs were eaten by bugs. The Yaoguai zombie was searching something on the ground, wanting to see what it is, Kira approached more and he saw someone nearly dead. The zombie was striping his clothes and was probably searching for something but Kira immediately interrupted him. Seeing Kira, the zombie left out a demonic shout, thinking of the worst, thinking that he called reinforcements Kira quickly draw his katana and slashed his head off, the headless body fell to the ground, “Now that was a weak opponent, heh” Kira thought. Going to the man he quickly asked him if he’s allright, there was no reply, Kira knew the man had died in agony from the pain of his wounds. Looking closer Kira saw something strange in the mans hand, it was a strange leaf, after an examination he knew that he had found out one of the herbs asked by Chen. Taking the herb fast Kira ran away in case more of the mysterious zombie would come. He went on the top of a tree to see the surroundings and he saw another lake to the east, the lake was pretty far away but that didn’t matter to Kira as he was very happy with his found.

Chapter I: The First Encounter

I

On a rainy day of Sunday while Kira was on the fortresses walls for the early watch he started to feel empty inside, maybe it’s because Ameise told him last night not to go on the morning watch because she foresaw that something very bad will happen, but how could Kira just sit back and do nothing now that he knows that something will happen. This day the Clan Leader has set for double shifts because of the numerous ill soldiers which can’t go on duty. It was about 18:00, after watching the walls for all day Kira was very tired so he chose to sit down a bit to drink and take a rest. He didn’t even get to open his gourd because an arrow just went near his head. Hurrying up to see what was going on he saw some Dragon Clan soldiers coming to the fortress doors. Seeing this Kira quickly rushed to the fortress stable grabed a horse and then went to warn the Clan Leader. After hearing this, the Clan Leader sent out order to quickly rush the enemy lines. The sleeping fortress is now getting alive, and all the soldier started to swarm to the entrance. Not why there’s such a noise outside, Ameise went out of her house to see what was happening. After seeing the elite soldiers running to the gates she began to think “Just like in my dream, oh no, Kira!” and so she took her lute and went outside the fortress to search for Kira. She couldn’t see him anywhere and then she thought that is better to wait for him to return, but as soon as a wounded soldier came back from scouting telling her that there are more than 1000 soldiers she rushed to the battle field to find Kira as quickly as possible. After an 1 hour search she began to find slain bodies of both the Dragon and Snake Clans then she realized the massive conflict which was happening just over the hill in front of her. Hearing the unbearable sound of sword clashing and the screams of the warriors which are dieing she began to fear for her life and remembered that in her dream Kira will be hit by a poison arrow. Using her shura to manipulate the sounds she started to search for Kiras warcry. When she finally find him she started running to him, ignoring the old tales which spoke “If you know the future, don’t rush to blindly change it, because you will just take the dream mans place”, when she reached him Kira wasn’t even touched by a blood stain, he fought with such grace that not even one enemy had touched him. She felt realeaved and after a brief moment she joined the fight, she didn’t even had time to draw her lute because she heared an arrow coming, aimed, directly at Kira. Not having time to warn him she jumped in front of the arrow being lightly wounded. After she stood up she began to feel dizzy and started to collapse, seeing this Kira knew something was wrong so he took Ameise and fled the battle field. Uppon reaching the fortress Ameise was quickly getting ill, when they finally reached Pharmacist Chen, Ameise was sleeping. After a quick examination Chen gave the news, Ameise was hit by a poison arrow and she’ll die in 7 days if the antidote isn’t administrated. Not knowing the type of poison Chen could only guess what herbs he would need, so he sent Kira to search for some very rare flowers deep in the Padsong Forest. Ameise was put in a bed and treated to ease her pain by Chen while Kira was off in his search.

Sky Clan

The most powerfull warriors are said to be living in a hidden village. When the first Yaoguai war broke out the warriors of the Sky Clan have used the Shards to send the Yaoguai army back to their devilish places. But they payed a big price by using the Shards, their entire village was build on the top of a volcano and one day the earth has split apart and lava scorched the earth and it is said to have killed all the Sky Clan members, some say there were survivors.

Snake Clan

The Snake Clan is the home of Kira and Ameise. The soldiers of this Clan are very agile and quick, it is said they can draw their katanas and slash you in a blink of an eye. Some of the soldiers have opted for lighter blades and increased speed and so the Double Blade martial arts have appeared. The ones who were very talented at using magic were trained by Ameise to master her own lute magic. They are sneaky and are often refered as assasins

Dragon Clan

The most noble warriors, they’re adepts at summoning dead spirits using special stones called “Marbles”. They have strong and durable armors wich easily reflect light attacks and the most aspectuos. Because of the heavy armors they have a special endurance training which only the most powerfull can finish it. It’s said the most powerfull Marblers can even summon dragons.

Tiger Clan

They are the most powerfull and relly on brute strength and they’re not using any kind of magic. They prefer to use massive weapons to defeat their enemies. They have huge muscles so they can wield their weapons and because of that they are very slow and wear light armors. Because of their massive bodies they are often refered as barbarians.

The Yaoguai

These devilish critters are lured by the Yaoguai stone and because of that they often attack the clan which controls the Yaoguai stone. They mastered many types of magic even those of Necromancy and it is said their army is numberless.

Kira

He is a martial art specialist and an adept of magic. At the age of 14, while others of the same age would play outside and do childish things, Kira on the other hand has mastered the sacred arts of Katana Weilding being able even to summon the spirits of mightiest warriors of his clan within his noble sword. After years of intense training and after reaching the age of 18, Kira has challenged his seniors to a fight in the arena in order to get the permission to leave the village and pursue his dream to find the Sky Clan (The most powerfull soldiers were even allowed to join the clan). Unfortunately he lost the battle so now he is stuck in Snake Clan as a high class admiral. His goals now include, defending the village from the other clans and also train for another 10 years till the next arena battle with his seniors.

Short description:

He’s a tall boy, approximately 1.84m tall, he’s slim and very agile. He has green eyes, long brown hair. Though he’s very very strong he didn’t overdo his body muscular mass so he can also be able to retain his speed. He is rude and arrogant, he thinks the world is at his own feet that he is somekind of god on earth.

Ameise

Ameise is one of the most beautyfull girls in the Snake Clan, and also one of the most brave and strong woman in the clan. She has mastered the usage of the Forbidden 5 Star Peak arts. At the age of 14 she has met Kira by pure luck while he was training to defeat his seniors. In that day Kira pushed himself too far so he broke his hand while trying to master a new technique so Ameise came to heal him. She is also known in her clan as the best lute singer, It is said her musical notes can melt even the coldest of hearts and bring back the fire inside peoples desires. One day, around the age of 16, she became very sick and she was closed in her house so that no one can visit her but Kira didn’t care and so he broke the seals used to close her door and entered her room. Ameise was found in a very bad state, she was very thin and nearly dehydrated. Kira takes care of her every day.Ameise was feeling lonely so Kira had the idea to use his magic to summon one spirit in Ameises lute so that she won’t be lonely anymore and so he summoned Gaia, the best lute player in the entire world. After spending months in her room Ameise mastered a new magic wich allowed her to manipulate the sounds made by her lute and with the help of Gaia she has healed her own sickness.

Short description:

She’s 1.64m tall, has black long hair and green eyes. Due to her sickness she remained very thin and because of her “speaking” guitar she can’t sleep well and often has insomnias. Because of her exilation she is now very cold and harsh and doesn’t trust anyone, not even Kira.
